The Spectro FluidScan Q1000 is a handheld lubricant oil degradation monitoring device that protects machinery from failure by determining when oil replacement is necessary due to severe contamination or degradation of the lubricant. By measuring key parameters that indicate the condition of the lubricant, regardless of whether it is synthetic or petroleum-based, it allows for the examination of lubricant degradation, contamination, and secondary contamination in the field. The FluidScan has made it possible to analyze sample oil with its innovative, patent-pending flip-top cell.
